Today got to work a bit late  . In the afternoon, one of my colleague asked an old old question, but was not old to me thou - do you consider Taiwan as an independent country? (oh, I am not trying to start an independent war or some thing, just want to make a mark for something else, something I got a little proud of. :)
Continue with the question. I don't have a strong opinion for this, as it does not really affect my life, neither any one around me both in china and US. Why do I care? emmm. My guts tell me, as a Chinese, I wish the motherland can be strong, large in territory and independent. My answer will be definitely yes. But why? how can I give persuasive reasons? Ha, after babbling for a couple of minutes, I said the following. It's like Democrats and Republicans in US. Imaging they got disagreements and started to fight. the republican people supposely were much weaker than Democrats and were oustered to stay in one state, say Florida. Will you say Florida and other parts of US are different country? He responded with a prompt no. haha :D I won!

today is columbus day. got home early. So tired but can't sleep. laying in the bed, thinking over the things I have done in the past. some successful, some not. Success can come randomly if you don't pay much attention to. One day, you just strolling on the way home and found dollars laying on the road side, and you picked up and earned money in the such amount. You can make money this way, but it does not happen every time on your way home. If you really want to make a living in this way, you may consider strolling as many as possible streets to increase the possibility to find missing dollars. That will become efforts. For the thing you really wanna achieve, you have to try hard, or really hard if it is difficult.
Same theory applies to people too. To find a good person, the one you like. Will it come automatically, like the cute nice guy will knock at your door finally, as I only stay home, or only in the working place and home? No. You can be lucky but it has to be logically lucky, :) Jiaoyou8 provides a easy way to allow people to initiate connections. I do like that it is very informative sometimes you can't get in a conversation, presuming the honesty of the information provider. Imaging a dozen of guys, (since I am a woman, so here the subject will be guys, hehe ) in the real life, you differentiate them first from the apperance, then talk to the ones looks attractive to you, then talk about the interest to see if connection or chemistry develop naturely. Keep looking, talking until find the right one. Nice, you got it! the time this path takes depends on the rate of meeting new people and the quality of the people you met.
In comparison, here, we check other's profile, the basic technical details, (a bit like a good in market) In some sense, it's efficient. But you have to put efforts too. you need to present yourselft well to get the right person attracted and interested and willing to initiate the conversation with you, assuming there is a right person here ( I will put a question mark for this, because.... em, you know) and one of the person need to be a paid member at that time. The thing you are presenting needs to be presentive. It's a person with all various of personality. obviously can't be presented in a few words. So I am gonna start writing my diary. Althou diary is not the most efficient way to communicate, thinking of sound recording, vedio taping, webcam... but it's the most I can do here. Hope in other's eyes, those information are presentive... It takes time to read, but bear with me, same thing, no pain no gain!

HOLY, just spent about 30 mins to get like 200-300, but lost after I hit the back key trying to delete the unwanted icon. :(( the title is stay there, but the whole body is gone. will write next time then. >>_<< |
